The following five courses were organised in the framework of the RICAMARE Concerted Action :

  1. A course on "Climatic Change : Effects on Agriculture in the Mediterranean Region"
    (Zaragoza, Sept. 25 - 29, 2000) has been managed by IAMZ-CIHEAM.



  2. A course on " Biodiversity in the Mediterranean Region: Evaluation, Threats and Strategies for its Conservation and Sustainable Use in the Face of Global Change "
    (Toledo, Oct. 16 - 22, 2000) has been managed by UCLM-Toledo



  3. A course on the "Water resources and global change in the Mediterranean"
    (Toledo, Dec. 2-8, 2001) was also managed by UCLM-Toledo



  4. A course on "Physical aspects of Climate Change in the Mediterranean Region"
    (Trieste, March 12 - 16, 2001) has been managed by ICTP (Trieste) and organised by F. GIORGI.


  5. A course on "Socio-economic Effects of Climate Change in the Mediterranean Region"
    (Trieste, Nov. 12-16, 2001) was also managed by ICTP (Trieste) and organised by F.GIORGI, A.GARRIDO, M.SHECHTER, J.M.
     MORENO and F. GIORGI.
